Our story

The Lifeskills Lab was founded on a simple belief: every person deserves to feel capable and confident. Based in Melbourne's Western suburbs, the practice offers an individualised, client-centred service to support you in achieving your goals and reaching your full potential.

We work with children and young adults, supporting developmental delays, sensory processing differences, fine motor challenges, handwriting, school and life readiness, social skills, and independence in daily living.

Our values

These principles guide every session, every conversation, and every little step forward.

Family-centred

Parents and caregivers are partners in every session. We listen, share strategies, and celebrate progress together.

Client-centred

Sessions are shaped around each person's goals, interests, and everyday routines, so progress feels meaningful and achievable.

Evidence-based

We use proven occupational therapy approaches and continually adapt our methods to match the latest research and your child's goals.
